Needs Assessment

The CAG is committed to programs and services that foster lifelong professional development through innovative and engaging programs that are evidence-based and ultimately improve patient care in gastroenterology. In the spirit of continuous quality improvement, the CAG Education Affairs committee conducts this annual educational survey of the entire CAG membership, as is required by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for all RCPSC Accredited Providers of CPD activities.

This annual survey helps define our continuing professional development (CPD) programs—a cornerstone of the CAG's mission. This information is essential in providing guidance to the CAG regarding the educational needs of its membership and to meeting CPD objectives.

The CAG is embarking on a period of revitalization as we develop a new Strategic Plan to better meet the needs of our membership. Thus, you'll find several questions related to organizational development, strategic planning, and working towards embracing diversity and equity in our culture.
